Norma Jean Shriver, age 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Summit City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A native of Fort Wayne, she was born to the late Walter Eddy Dickinson and Vae Opal (nee.Inks) Dickinson.
She worked for 37 combined years at Alro Steel, Art Iron and O'Neal Steel before retiring in 2012. She devoted her time as a volunteer at the Lutheran Hospital Gift Shop for 10 years. She was a 25 year member of the Fort Wayne Region Sports Car Club of America and previously President of the Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority. Norma enjoyed reading and spoiling her grandchildren
Surviving are her devoted husband of 50 years, Richard Alan Shriver, two lovely daughters, Tammy Hawkins Pasko (Steve) and Sarah (Kristopher) Busch; four grandchildren, Lindsay and Justin Pasko, Elizabeth and Nora Busch; a brother, Wayne (Diane) Dickinson; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road (46804) with visitation one hour prior to services with Pastor Mike Wilson officiating. Visitation also Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials are to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo and American Cancer Society.
