Patricia Ann Curran, 92, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023. She was born in Elgin, Ohio, to the late Morgan and Edith (Sill) Thomas and moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana at an early age. She retired in 1992 after 30 years with Sears Roebuck; her last position with Sears was as the Office Manager for the Fort Wayne Sears Service Department. She was an avid Indiana University basketball fan and loved beach vacations in Florida. Most of all she loved and lived for spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Mott, son Mark (Beth) Dlug, granddaughters Jennifer (Jake) Sowles, Caitlin Crow, and grandson Cody Mott. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren Logan Bolen, Claire Sowles, and Dexter and Marshall Crow. She is also survived by her sister Peg DeWispeleare, and several nieces and nephews whom she was very close to.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Curran and brother, Morgan Thomas.
A visitation will be at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN 46804 on Friday, October 20th, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral will begin following visitation at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
