Patricia Joann Swaidner

Patricia Joann (Hill) Swaidner, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Born on February 21, 1939, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late George C and Helen (Sitko) Hill, and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She is survived by her son, Timothy (Pamela) Swaidner; grandsons, Aaron (Megan) Swaidner, and Nathan (Marissa Long) Swaidner; great-granddaughters, Stella and Katy; and great-grandson, Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ross Swaidner; and her son, Douglas M. Swaidner, who passed on January 31 of this year. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers Street, New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, March 6, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
