Patricia Ann West

Patricia Ann West, age 70, of Fort Wayne, Indiana sadly left us on Thursday, April 4, 2024 following a stroke. Patricia was born in Newport News, Virginia a daughter of the late Donald and Gladys Hile. Pat as she was known, was a loving mother, sister & friend. She would give the shirt off of her back if she thought that would make a difference in someone’s life. You could always find her cooking or making brownies for the neighbors and teachers at school just to brighten their day. She taught music at the local elementary schools as well as teaching puppet classes in the summer to young kids. She took great joy in working with the kids. She will be greatly missed by all and has made a bigger impact in this life than she ever knew. She is survived by Glenn Hile (Brother), Joyce Hile (Sister-in-Law), Les Hile (Brother), Sharon Hile (Sister-in-Law), Linda Schultz (Sister), George Schultz (Brother-in-law), Linda Hile (Sister-in-Law), Lori Mikos (Daughter), Matt Mikos (Son-in-Law), Joshua Hanna (son) and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Pat will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, April 14, 2024 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Mapelwood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46815 with visitation one hour prior to services. The Rev. Mark Gough will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery - Wallen Road. **In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission or Humane Society of Fort Wayne** Fond memories may be shared at www.mccombandsons.com for the family.
