PAULINE F. ARNEY, 100, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Kingston Health care. Born Dec. 9, 1912, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Platt and Mary (Brown). She was a homemaker. Surviving are her sons, James (Judy) Arney of North Manchester and Jack (Linda) Arney of Huntertown; daughter-in-law, Margaret "Peg" Arney of Rome City; sister, Barbara Creed of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; and nine step great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arney; and son, Thomas Arney. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the Arthritis Foundation or donor's choice.
