Peter Paul, Jr., 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 14, 2025. Pete was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. As a child, Pete enjoyed family fishing trips on the St. Lawrence River, performing magic shows at local events and was active in the Boy Scouts of America. Pete graduated from Bennett High School, Buffalo, NY (1961), received an Associates degree in Construction Technology from Erie County Tech (1963), Williamsville, NY, and served as President of Kappa Tau fraternity. In June of 1964, Pete married the love of his life Ginger Knapp. They moved to Fort Wayne, IN and were married for 56 years. Ginger and Pete had a spark for adventure, family, and fun! They both took flying lessons and each soloed, served as youth group leaders at a local Presbyterian church and had three children. Over the course of his career Pete worked as a structural engineer, real estate developer and ultimately retired from Essex Group in 1998.
Pete worked with a local architect to design a unique family home in the mid-century modern style associated with his favorite architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. He planned amazing family trips including visiting all 50 states with Ginger and completing their bucket list of travel, which included Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Pete always found the humor and positivity in every circumstance. He was beyond generous, kind and loved his family very much!
