

Philip Eugene Budd, 81, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1943, to Philip Budd and Pearl Davis.
Philip was a simple, dedicated family man and a one-of-a-kind character who was known as one of the funniest people to ever walk the earth. A man of peace who never harmed anyone, he was deeply loved by his family and his community. He enjoyed the simple things in life, spending his time hunting, fishing, and visiting local flea markets.
Philip is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Budd. He is also survived by his nephews, Michael Smith and Johnnie Winners, and his niece, Tammy Thompson. His legacy continues through Michael’s five children and Tammy’s two sons. He also leaves behind his great-nephew, Philip Winters (and his two children), and his great-nieces, Shelby Winters (and her child) and Amanda Carries. Amanda is the daughter of Johnnie Winners, who had seven children in total. Philip was a constant source of laughter and strength for all his nieces, nephews, and the younger generations of grandbabies who looked up to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Budd and Pearl Davis.
