Phyllis Pauline Thieme, 92, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away surrounded by family on January 22, 2024. She was born in 1931 to her loving parents Dorthy and Otto Aumiller. Phyllis was a dedicated delivery woman for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, where she fearlessly delivered papers for around 60 years. Her commitment to her work was recognized by the newspaper on Monday, January 6, 2014.
Phyllis is survived by her oldest son Mark, father of 3 and grandfather of 11, Karla, mother of 4 and grandmother of 16, son Doug, father of 1, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence L. Pritchard, ex-husband Ronald J. Thieme, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
A ceremony to celebrate Phyllis's life will be held on Saturday, February 3 , 2024, 1-4, at SW Assembly of God, located at 7702 Smith Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
