QUEEN ESTHER LAKE DUNBAR, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015. Surviving are her daughters, Marsha (Charlie Jr.) Reese and Anita Wallace; sons, Nathan (Michelle) Lake and Dr. Timothy (Carmon) Lake, Jesse Lake and Aaron (Jeannine) Lake; sister, Willie Lee Thompson; three brothers and two sisters all of Birmingham, Ala.; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Dunbar; daughter, Quan; and son, Anthony. Service is noon Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at Union Baptist Church, 2200 Smith St., with calling two hours prior. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
