Ralph E. Rinehart Jr.

Ralph E. Rinehart Jr., 73, passed away Sunday February 6, 2022 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born January 29, 1949 in Portsmouth, VA., the son of the late Ralph E. Rinehart Sr. and Edith Seaman. Ralph was a honorably discharged Vietnam, U.S. Army Veteran. He earned a Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharp Shooter, Vietnam Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, go carting, genealogy and historical research, and staying up on current events.

He is survived by his children, Jerred Rinehart , Karreen Rinehart both of Fort Wayne, IN; Scott Alan Jones, of GA; brother, Roland Rinehart, grandchildren, Ethan Basting, Mason Rinehart, Kaden Rinehart, Mirranda Martin, Korra Martin, Zach Martin, Brody Martin, great grandchildren, Greyson Wenglikowskie and Cora Basting. Preceded in death by his wife Judith Ann McCaugh Rinehart.

Funeral service will be 4pm Friday February 18, 2022 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN., with visitation from 2-4pm at the funeral home.
