Randy G. King, of Bluffton, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022. Born Oct. 8, 1965, in New Kensington, Pa., he was a son of Leroy and Selva (Miller) King. Randy graduated from Burrell High School in 1983 and earned his Associate's degree in Business Management from Ivy Tech University. He proudly served his nation in the United States Army during the Desert Storm Conflict from 1984 to 1987 and continued with the U.S. Army Reserves until 1993. Randy spent time in the manufacturing and transportation industry working for Lincoln Food Service, Holland, First Fleet, Ruann and ultimately as an owner-operator driving for Landstar and FedEx Custom Critical. He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Coak) King; children, Ashley (Corey) Carnahan; and grandchildren, Rylan Beau, Maylynn, Allison, and Jackson Carnahan of Paulding, Ohio, and Rachel (Daniel) Jarvis and grandchildren, Leyla, Scarlett, Bentley and Briella Jarvis of Houston, Texas; father, Leroy King of Lower Burrell, Pa.; and sister, Sharon (Randy) Wilks of Lower Burrell, Pa. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Selva (Miller) King. A Celebration of Life is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne, with memorial calling one hour prior.
