Rebecca Ann "Becky" Best

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Best, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home. Born on October 22, 1940, in Fort Wayne, she was a member of Christ's Church of Fort Wayne. Becky is survived by her husband of 25 years, Edward “Ted” Best; children, Melanie (Steve Sowles) Manny, Gary (Sunshine) Martin; grandchildren, Samantha (Tony) Ochoa, Ian Martin; great-grandchildren, Alexander Ashby, Liam Ashby, Arlo Ochoa; and brother, Herb (Ed) Honness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Nelson, and Betty (Elmer) Tester; and a brother, Jim Nelson. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Christ's Church of Fort Wayne (3131 South Maplecrest Road), with calling beginning at 2:00pm, one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home (1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne).
