Rebecca L. Renbarger

Rebecca "Becky" L. Renbarger, 73, of South Whitley, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was born on May 12, 1944 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Stanger) McArthur. Becky and Donald Renbarger were married in 1965 and would have celebrated their 53 anniversary this October. Becky loved numbers! So much in fact that she chose to be a tax adviser for most of her adult life, alongside her job at Lincoln Financial. In more recent years she ran a tax business from her home. Becky enjoyed cooking (she was a fabulous cook), playing cards, knitting, watching football, helping on the farm and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed being outdoors and driving her dogs (Toby and Shadow) around the family farm on her yellow buggy. Becky is survived by her husband, Donald Renbarger; her three sons, Michael (Kristin), James (Tina), and Thomas Renbarger; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Janet Tappy; special friend Pam and lifelong best friend Jeanette. Aside from her parents, she was preceded by a sister, Judy Osburn. Becky was well loved in her community and will be greatly missed! Per Becky's request, no services will be held at this time.
