Renee (Spaw) Grim was born on July 27, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and peacefully passed away on May 12, 2024, in Fort Wayne, IN. Renee's educational journey began at Saint Paul’s Lutheran School, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. She retired from Parkview Hospital and dedicated her career to serving others. Renee's love for animals blossomed in her childhood when she would bring home stray animals, showing her compassionate and nurturing nature. She was known for her kindness, humor, and the special bond she shared with her Great Granddaughter, Avangeline. She is survived by her treasured daughters, Aleathea Sowers and Kelli (Frederick) Aldred; grandsons, Tré (Ames) Sowers and Devin (Nautia) Bill; great granddaughter, Avangeline; and her sister, Pam Meeks. Renee was preceded in death by her mother, Fern Louise (Hunt) Allen; father, Floyd Hart; brothers, Terry and Stan Spaw; and best friend, Rick. At this time, there will be no services to commemorate Renee's life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the love she shared with her family and friends. In honor of Renee's memory, contributions can be made to the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo or the American Brain Tumor Association.
