Rennel H Hood Jr.

Rennel H. "Rumble" Hood Jr., 60, passed away on February 12, 2021. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 28, 1960, the son of the late Rennel Hood Sr., and Everlena Hood. He graduated from Northside High School in 1979. Rennel enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his nieces and nephews dearly. His smile was contagious and his joking personality will be long remembered. Rennel will always be remembered for his sayings; "prettier than me," "the deal is, "junior flip," among many others. He was a movie buff of all genres and enjoyed watching them with friends and family. In his spare time he enjoyed driving around town and anywhere he could go. He is survived by his brother, Derrick Hood Sr; many many nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Betty J. Hood, and Bobbie Renee Hood; and his favorite niece, Alanda "Punkin" Hood. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 5pm on Friday, February 26, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN 46805.
