Richard Nevin Huff 83 passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born December 21, 1937 to the late Radford and Margaret Huff. Richard graduated from North Side High School in 1955. He earned a degree in botany from Indiana University. He retired from the Post Office in Ft Wayne. He had a great interest in plants, trees, flowers, birds and possessed a large collection of literature. He played the violin and loved music especially classical music.
Surviving are his wife Nancy Huff , sisters, Nancy Jane Kanczuzewski, and Martha Dively. Also surviving are 3 nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother R. Lawrence Huff.
Funeral service will be 1:30pm Friday March 19, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home Fort Wayne, IN., with visitation two hours prior. Burial in Concordia Gardens Cemetery Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ft Wayne Humane shelter in his Richard’s memory, due to his interest in and love of animals.
