

Richard L. Judge, 56, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 15, 1956 in Elgin, IL, son of the late William and Margarethe (Aronson) Judge. He married Kimberly (Sweet) Judge on August 1, 1975 and had just celebrated 38 years of marriage. For over thirty years, Richard was an auto mechanic and truck driver. As a hobby, he was an avid NASCAR fan. Richard loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Judge of Fort Wayne; daughter, Pamela Judge of Fort Wayne; sons, Richard “Rick” Judge of Fort Wayne, Jonathon Judge of Muncie, In., and Kenneth (Sharon) Judge of Fort Wayne; eleven grandchildren- Victoria, Aidian, Kayle, Chaseton, Alyssa, Richard, Kaitlyn, Emma, Roseanna, Elizabeth, and David; and one great grandchild, Charlotte; sisters Karen "Susie" Judge of Fort Wayne and Roberta "Bobbie" (Glynn) Knott of Angelton, Texas. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Judge. A funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne Street, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 8. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for care of Pamela Judge and to Dr. Katz’s Research Program for Gastroparesis.
