Richard "Larry" Early, 68 passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. Larry was born in Kokomo, Indiana on August 11, 1955, he was a son of the late Richard and Joan (Megal) Early. He worked in the elevator industry for over 42 years. Larry enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Early; sons, Sam (Jenny) and Patrick (Nicole) Early; grandchildren, Sam, Jake, Lucas, Olivia, and Parker Early; sisters, Elaine (Jon) Maraldo and Michelle (Paul) Shoaf; and brother, Mark (Jan) Early. Larry was also preceded in passing by his sister, Barbara Early. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
