Robert W Fancher

Robert “Bob” W. Fancher, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Ernest Ray and Mary (Walden) Fancher. He was a 1956 graduate of Central High School where he had made lasting friendships with many of his classmates. He married Nancy (Brady) on June 17, 1995 and she survives. Bob worked as a tool designer and engineer for International Harvester for many years, retiring in 2000 from DANA. He adored his grandchildren, spending time with them, and attending their sporting events. Above all else he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Bob enjoyed playing golf and being on the lake. Surviving are his children, Chris (Shelly) Fancher, Tracy (Deb) Fancher, Kelly (Aaron) Snyder, Jill (John Kimbrell) Vigar, and Jodi (Chad) Dennison; daughter-in-law, Molly Miller; 19 grandchildren; sister, Kate Neddeff; and a host of friends. Bob was also preceded in death by his son, Tony Miller; and three brothers and three sisters. Visitation from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at D.O.
