Robert Dale Fischer, 79, died Thursday morning, March 26, 2026, at Stillwater Hospice on Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana , following a months long hospital stay.

Per Robert's wishes, he will be cremated and interred at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Services will be private.

Robert was born May 24, 1946 in Wyandotte, Michigan, the son of Dorothy (Lee) and Carl Robert Fischer. He had one older sister, Barbara Leigh Fischer.

Robert graduated high school in Wyandotte. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in December 1989 and worked for General Motors. He retired from General Motors in Fort Wayne in 2005.

Robert met Sarina Chen in New York and they were married July 31, 1993 in Allen Park, Wayne County, Michigan. One son was born to them on June 24, 1996 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sarina and son, Carl.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
