Robert "Bob" L. Kerns

Robert "Bob" L. Kerns, age 80, of South Whitley, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born May 15, 1941 in New Haven, Indiana to the late Franklin and Marguerite Kerns. Bob graduated from New Haven High School in 1959 and matriculated from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne with a degree in History. He worked as a quality engineer and in various capacities for Magnavox, ITT, served as an assistant to Philo Farnsworth, North American Van Lines, Ottenweller where he implemented QS9000, Excelwel Manufacturing, and Superior Precision prior to his retirement. Bob was an afficiando of vintage vinyl, political science, current events, World War II era history, and Chicago Cubs baseball.

Bob is survived by his children, Scott (Brenda) Kerns of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Stephanie Kerns of Lebanon, New Hampshire, Kristina (Robert) Bopp of Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandchildren, Shianne Baldwin and Dylan Kerns; close personal friends, Tony (Lori) Starkey and family of South Whitley, Indiana. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank A. Kerns of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
