ROBERT "BOB" A. OVERMYER, 63, passed away on Wednesday, April, 20, 2016. Bob was a resident of Morgan-ton, N.C. He was born in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Jack and Ruth Overmyer. He graduated from Huntington High School and attended Tri State University. "Bob was a loving husband, father, and brother." He was the owner and president of Metaltech Inc. He enjoyed motoring, traveling, and hiking. Surviving are his wife, Jane Overmyer of Morganton, N.C.; daughters, Katherine Overmyer of Madison, Wis., Michelle Overmyer of Morganton, N.C.; siblings, Linda (Burl) Rawlins of Columbia City, Ronald (Pat) Overmyer of Melbourne, Fla. and Karen Baker of Columbia City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
