Roberta Gail Rogers, 43, passed away on April 13, 2026. She was born on September 14, 1982, in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of the late Robert and Sharon (Rogers) Yoder. She will be remembered with enduring affection by all who knew and loved her.
Roberta attended South Side High School, and later served as a manager at Wendy’s, a role she held until permanent disabilities made it too difficult to continue working. Even as her health changed, she met each day with a quiet resilience that those closest to her came to rely on.
More than anything, Roberta cherished time with family and friends. Her home and her heart were places of care—open, attentive, and grounded in a sincere kindness that asked for little in return. She also found constant companionship in her two dogs, Trixie (11) and Bluto (4), her “fur babies,” who were a source of comfort and closeness in daily life.
Roberta was someone who consistently looked after others. Even on days when she was in pain, she still made sure everyone was taken care of—an enduring reflection of her caring nature and the love she gave so freely. Her physical disability caused her a great deal of pain, and while her suffering is now over, she will be greatly missed by her family.
Roberta is survived by her siblings, Nettie Rogers, Joshua Rogers, and Brad Potts; and her nieces and nephews, Hunter, Joshua Jr., Corbin, Jay, Braylen, Ashley, Jasmine, and Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Rogers.
Roberta will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10:00am at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN.
