Ron was born in Fort Wayne on September 7, 1939. He graduated from Central High School and then enlisted in the Army, where he served four years,
Ron was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service until he retired. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Debbie Pitzer, and three granddaughters, Samantha, Hannah, Kirsten, and several brothers and sisters.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 12 PM - 2 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Mungovan, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, followed by a funeral service at 2 PM. Military honors from the United States Army and American Legion Post #47, Fort Wayne, will be rendered.
