Roseanne Renteria

Roseanne Renteria, 65, passed away July 22, 2024, at her home in Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 21, 1958 in Angola, IN, the daughter of the late Vernon and Marilyn Diehl.

Roseanne graduated from DeKalb High School, Auburn, IN in 1976, and earned A.A in Marketing Supervision from Indiana University in 1981 and her Bachelors in Human Resources at IPFW University in 1992. She then earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Anderson University in 2008.

Roseanne worked as the Human Resource Director at DuCharme Millen in Fort Wayne, IN for fourteen years, Disetronic Medical Systems, Fishers IN for eight years, then moved back to Fort Wayne where she worked at Superior Auto for eight years until she retired in 2020.

Roseanne was very involved with The Northeast Indiana Human Resource Association (NIHRA), where she served on the board for many years. She had many hobbies throughout her lifetime such as camping, reading, bird watching, relaxing by the pool and spending time with her close friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Natalie (Emerson) Poort of Warsaw, IN; son, Daniel (Staci) Renteria of Lexington, SC; brothers, Roger (Judy) Diehl of Kendallville, IN; Ralph (Cindy Prater) Diehl of Ashley, IN; Mark (Shelly) Diehl of Albion, IN; grandchildren, Debbie, Vaj, Daniel, Layla, Devin and Georgia; and three great grandchildren.

Roseanne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rodney Diehl.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Sunday, July 28, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation two hours prior. Burial and committal will be Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 2:30 pm at Fairfield Cemetery, in Corona, IN.
