Rosemary Luker

Rosemary Luker, age 84, of Butler, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born September 2, 1937 in Montpelier, Ind. to the late John D. and Leota Davis. Rosemary graduated from Harlan High School in 1955 and went on to receive her nursing degree from Ivy Tech. She spent her life as a caregiver, which was her passion, and spent her entire career in the medical field working in hospitals and nursing homes. Rosemary enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, reading and puzzle books. She was also an animal lover, having many cats and dogs as family members over the years. Rosemary is survived by her children, Jim Luker of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jeff Luker of Woodburn, Ind., Kelli Brinkert of Fort Wayne, Ind., Matt (Jody) Luker of St. Joe, Ind., and Bree (Travis) Holbrook of Marshall, MI; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Davis of Montpelier, Ind. and A. B. Ward of Butler, Ind.; and sister, Karen Burnett of Butler, Ind. Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Mike Luker and grandson, Ean Luker. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Highland Park, 2403 E Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, Ind. with a memorial visitation beginning at 12:00 PM.
