Rosemary Pota spent most of her youth in the Hungarian community around Buckeye Road in Cleveland, OH, then traveled the country on adventures that allowed her to explore a career in modeling, various hospitality jobs and in a catering business with one of her sisters back in her old stomping grounds around Cleveland. She met and married Henry Roberts in 1959, immediately starting a family, planting homes and making friends around the Midwest as Henry’s regular work transfers led the family to Cleveland, OH; Memphis, TN; Fort Wayne, IN; Elyria, OH; Hershey, PA; South Bend, IN; rural Whitley County, IN and finally resettling in Fort Wayne.
Rosemary ran Newcomers Service and Person to Person welcoming services and was the co-owner with her husband of Personal Marketing Systems Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN, for 20 years, semi-retiring in the early 2000s.
Rosemary was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church, Executive Women’s International, Ambassadors Club, Newcomers Club, Women’s Bureau, and the Chamber of Commerce of Fort Wayne. She was also a volunteer at Parkview Hospital’s White Cross.

She was an excellent cook and baker, known for whipping up a delicious meal (including dessert) for four or 40 on a moment’s notice and making sure no one went away hungry.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Henry W. Roberts on July 31, 2012, her parents, and seven older siblings.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Tim (Kelley) Roberts of AZ, Melinda (Bruce) Haines of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Lindsay (Aaron Smith) Roberts, Hannah Haines, Jessica (Heath) Blair, and Rachel (Jeffrey Cowart) Haines Cowart and many nieces and nephews.
