ROSIE M. FAUROTE, 84 of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, 11:45 am, at Parkview Hospital, Randallia. Born Feb. 2, 1929 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Itha E. (Harrington) and Harold Walters. She was a waitress and had worked for Central High School; Nisners; Fort Wayne Country Club; Orchard Ridge Country Club; L.S. Ayers; Laycoff's; and Halls. Surviving are her children, Karen Paonessa, Patti Faurote, Sandra Faurote, and Walter J. Faurote; sister, Patreina A. Bawden of Keokuk, Iowa; grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Marks, Angela Paonessa, Amber Paonessa, Anthony Joseph (Katie) Paonessa, Cliffton Schenkel, Dustin Faurote, Darin Faurote, R. Joshua Faurote, Kyia Faurote, and Rianne Faurote; Great-grandchildren, Alexys Paonessa, Rylee Marks, Tyler Marks, Joseph Anthony Paonessa, and Clayton Schenkel; great-great-grandchildren, Gianna Paonessa, Cecilia Paonessa, and Brody Schmidt; and two nieces and four nephews, all of Keokuk, Iowa.
