Ruth A. (Rediger) Jessup, 100, of Tomah, Wisconsin and formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at Agape Acres in Warrens, Wisconsin. She was born March 11, 1919 in Woodburn, Indiana to Chester and Minnie (Zimmerman) Rediger. She retired from Mutual Security Life Insurance Co and was a long-time member of the First Assembly of God Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she taught Sunday school and volunteered in the church kitchen for many years. Also, she was an accomplished seamstress; she enjoyed sewing for her family. On January 23, 1937 in Woodburn, Indiana, she married Wayne L. Jessup. Wayne preceded her in death on November 15, 1976. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends She is survived by a daughter Bonnie J. (Douglas) Budde of Tomah, 5 grandchildren, Christopher J. Kilgore, of New Haven, IN, Kent L. Kilgore, Beth Anne (Steve) Findlay both of Fort Wayne, IN, Craig D. (Maretta) Budde of Warrens, WI, Andrea J. (Adam) Beien, of Sterling IL, a sister Betty L. (Robert) Viet of Madison, IN, 10 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Chester and Minnie, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, her son Monte Dean Jessup, her daughter, Drusilla L. Kilgore, her son-in-law James Kilgore, a grandson Todd A. Kilgore, her sisters Evelyn M. Gerber, Marie E. Kauffman, a brother Marion L. Rediger, and their spouses, and a great great granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at the Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road Fort Wayne, Indiana. Burial will be in the Woodburn Mennonite Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday at the Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
