Sally J. Shriner, 83, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday May 31. Born in Paulding, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ernest “Red” and Ferneau J. White. A member of Colony Heights Church of Christ, Fort Wayne, she was active with the church’s missions committee, and was a volunteer with the Allen County Jail Chaplaincy Program.
She is survived by her husband, John E. “Jack” Shriner; children, Tim (Bev) Shriner, Steve (Nancy) Shriner, Dave (Julie) Shriner, Jim Shriner, Jon (Andi) Shriner, and Ann (Curt) Chivers; as well as 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday June 5, at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling will be held from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday June 4, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the Allen County Jail Chaplaincy Program or Colony Heights Church of Christ to support the mission work of Carol Pebley, or Phil & Kathy Banta.
