Born on June 12, 1954, in Framingham, Massachusetts, Scott was a beloved son of the late Donald and Lois Flannigan and grew up in a bustling household with six siblings, including his twin brother Charlie and sisters Julie, Nancy, Gail, Leslie, and Donna.
After graduating high school, Scott answered the call to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force. His time in the service was marked by dedication and camaraderie, qualities that he carried with him into civilian life.
Scott found his professional calling in metal fabrication, where he spent decades honing his craft. Yet, it was his quick wit and warm smile that truly made him a standout in any crowd. Whether at work or at play, Scott was always ready with a joke, brightening the days of those around him.
He was a devoted father to his cherished daughters, Erin and Lindsey, who inherited his humor and zest for life. As a grandfather to five and a great-grandfather to one, Scott's legacy continues to thrive in the generations that follow.
In honoring Scott’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate his life. As we say goodbye, we remember Scott for the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.
May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who came before him, and cherished by those he leaves behind.
