Sharon Ann Johnson, age 70, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. Sharon was born December 4,1951, to the late John and Lola Salway. Sharon earned her Bachelor's degree in education from Ball State University and spent her career working for Hallmark Corporation and Advantage, where she retired from. Sharon enjoyed quilting, wreath making, and crafting. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Chris Johnson of Fort Wayne; son, Robert Johnson of Fort Wayne; sisters, Shirley Salway, Cathy Burgess, and Sandy Klinker; sister-in-law, Cathy Lynn Salway; nieces, Ashleigh Smith, Stephanie Tomczewski, and Hannah Klinker; nephews, Jim Salway, John (Amber Sherman) Salway, Erik Tomczewski, Ryan (Danielle) Klinker, Christian (Kaela) Klinker, Derek Klinker, and Michael Smith; as well as 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Johnson; brothers, Thomas and Richard Salway; and sister, Tina Wilkins. The family would like to acknowledge the love and compassion of her caregivers, Joy Coffey-McKinney and Teresa Yager. Services will be held at East Liberty UMC in the spring.
