Skipper Jay Weinreich, Sr., 60-years-old, passed away unexpectantly Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his home in Fort Wayne. Skip was born on October 23, 1960, to Dixie Beatty (Weinreich), Cleveland, Ohio. Skip had a love for being an avid entrepreneur, camping, grilling, hunting, fishing, canoeing, traveling, spending time with his family, and was a beloved pet owner to his dogs Bubba, Snoopy, and Nova. Skip was a gentle soul, a loving and proud son, partner, father, and grandfather, and genuinely a hard-working man. The honor of knowing him will be cherished by all. He is survived by his mother, Dixie (Dannie) Beatty; significant other, Sherri DeFord; son, Skipper, Jr. (Alyssa) Weinreich; and his grandchildren, Olivia Rain, Jayden Priscilla Rose, Everly Mae, and Wayland Jay.
