Skyler Wade Bowers, age 25, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born November 3, 1995 in Fort Wayne, IN to Steven Bowers and Nicole (McDonald) Proffitt. Skyler was known for his infectious smile that would melt your heart, mischievous demeanor, fondness for electronic devices, uncanny ability to befriend anyone and love for his family. Skyler is survived by his parents, Steven L. (Denise) Bowers of New Haven, Ind., and Nicole (Jerry) Proffitt of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters, Stephanie McDonald and Teanna Bowers of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jessica Bowers of New Haven, Ind., Brittani Reeves and Lauren Johnson, both of Fort Wayne, Ind., Maranda Powell and Cheyenne Proffitt of Fort Wayne, Ind. He was predeceased by his brother, Taylor McDonald. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Mungovan, 2114 South Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne, Ind.
