Stephen John Albert

Stephen John Albert, 63, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born April 29, 1959, in Clinton, MA, the son of Joseph Charles Andre and Rosalie Albert. He graduated from Snider High School in 1979. Stephen worked as a diesel mechanic at Penske for 35 years and over 2 years with Transportation Refrigeration. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and Nascar fan. Stephen enjoyed his days on Lake Tippecanoe fishing off the pontoon and having fun with his family and friends. His hobbies included working outside, baseball card collecting and searching for lost valuables with his metal detector.

Steve was a devoted PaPa who adored his grandchildren. He was quick with a joke or the first one to be there if you needed him.

He is survived by his wife Amy Albert of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Tim (Brandy) Albert, Tom (Paige) Albert, daughter Tori (Tyler) Smith and a step-daughter Brittany (Brandon) Bowden all of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Francis Albert, sister Mary Thompson and 12 grandchildren, Jason, Ellie, Liam, Lyndi, Roman, Jett, Elijah, Jude, Josie, Jane, Faythe and Emma.

A Celebration of life will be 6pm Friday, March 31, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
