Susan McCombs Duddy

Susan Lorraine McCombs Duddy, was born on August 24, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved on to a better life on March 26, 2022. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in biology, at Purdue University. She worked at Essex Wire as a lab technician, and later, as a chemist. She later worked at the Three Rivers Food Co-op; first as a stocker and then as a department manager. Susan enjoyed nature and loved to sing her favorite song, "You Are My Sunshine." She attended the Fort Wayne Metaphysical Chapel. She was a loving wife and cherished her children and grandchildren. Susan is survived by her husband, James Douglas Duddy of Kimmell, Indiana; son and his family, Jeremy Ross Duddy, wife Heather, and their children, Alera, Zoey, and Jaeden. Susan is also survived by her daughter, Erin Duddy, all of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by her father, Milton McCombs; brother, Mike McCombs; two aunts, Beverly Beekman and Gloria Garr; sister-in-law, Jackie Long; brother-in-law, George Skelton. Susan will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
