Susette was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Markle. She retired as a Music Teacher from Weisser Park Magnet School. She enjoyed her many years of retirement with her grandchildren, traveling the world, spending time at Crooked Lake Angola in the summer and Bradenton, FL in the winter. Susette is survived by her sons, Dr. Charles and Teresa Middleton of Marathon FL, and Larry Middleton of Angola; son-in-law, Don and Emmylou Osos of Columbia City; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Middleton; 2nd husband, Duane Blanchard; daughter, Dr. Nancy Middleton Osos; infant daughter, Mary Kay Middleton; brothers, Noble and Royal Mitchell.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Pine Valley Park (1320 E Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) at 1:30 pm with visitation beginning at 11:30 am until the time of service. Social distancing guidelines will be followed. Burial will follow the service to Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
