Tanner Matthew Henderson

In loving memory of Tanner Matthew Henderson, age 29, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Tanner passed away, unexpectedly, at Lutheran Hospital, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Tanner was born December 28, 1992, in Bluffton, Indiana, to the late Terry Voght and Teresa Henderson. Tanner wasn't perfect, nor is anyone else, as far as that goes. To be perfect is to be divine; no mortal man is or will ever be perfect. We should cast around Tanner's foibles and simply remember him as a good son and friend that he was. Tanner can be remembered as a very hard working young man. His joys in life were getting tattoos and listening to rap music. Tanner had a willingness to help others out, whether it be family, friends, or strangers. Tanner even, at his death, blessed several strangers, by donating some of his organs, so that the individuals who received them, could live a better life; so that Tanner could continue to live through them.

Surviving Tanner is his loving mother, Teresa (Michael) Roop of Decatur, Indiana.

Tanner's siblings, Kiara Henderson of Decatur; Anna Roop of Decatur; and Mirina, Kya, Damon, and Karma Voght. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Esther Voght of Huntington.
