Teresa resided in Fort Wayne for the majority of her life. She was a certified nursing assistant for more than 40 years. She loved to read, solve word search puzzles and dance to Mexican music.
Teresa leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Danyele Barrera of Fort Wayne; her three grandsons, Noel, Oscar, and Santana; her brother, Thomas (Nina); her sister, Martha; and her brother, Bartolo (Anita).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas L. and Addie M. Barrera; her sisters, Maria and Casey; and her nephew David.
A visitation for Teresa will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
