Teresa Rose McLaughlin

Terri graduated from Northrop High School, class of 1977. She went on to work for various companies including Hooks Drug Store, American Greetings, Lake End Sales, AMA, and Food Marketing/SuperValu. While at SuperValu she went back to school to study Speech Pathology and Audiology, graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in May of 2001, and then with her Master of Science degree in December 2003. She worked for NSSED in Highland Park, Illinois before moving to Texas where she worked for Klein Independent School District, then for Humble Independent School District, where she was currently the Assistive Technology Coordinator. She loved spending time with her family, her weekly card night with her sister Chris, and caring for her puppy dog Sofie.

She is survived by siblings, Archbishop Andrew Maklakov formerly known as Mike McLaughlin, Tim McLaughlin, Chris Haney (Steve), Marybeth Mathias (Syd), many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father, John L. McLaughlin, Mother, Barbara J. McLaughlin, Brother, Paul A. McLaughlin.

Funeral service will be 12:30 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Private burial at Highland Park Cemetery. To sign the online guestbook go to www.mccombandsons.com
