Theresea Jane Nichols

Theresea Jane Nichols, 74, of Garrett, IN passed away on November 17th, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Theresea was born in Auburn, IN on January 11th, 1949 to Clarence and Treva (Searfoss) Burns. She married John Nichols on August 3, 1974. She was a homemaker where she raised and cared for her 4 children. She enjoyed watching/listening to the birds, playing BINGO, and spending time with family. Theresea was a resident at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett where she developed many great friendships.

Survivors include:

Daughter, Denise (Steven) Walker of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Daughter, Diana Hinkle of Sarasota, Florida.

Daughter, Mary Lehman of Kendallville, Indiana.

Son, Robert Nichols of Garrett, Indiana.

Six grandchildren: Coleton Terry, Brent Hinkle, Ashley Nichols, Becca Nichols, Aydin Hinkle and Abigail Smith.

Two great grandchildren: Nolan Terry and Adrian Smith.

Sister, Rosie Harris of Kendallville, Indiana.

Theresea is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and thirteen siblings.

Theresea's family will be hosting a private celebration of life at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
