Thomas Riley Logan

THOMAS R. LOGAN, 29, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Bradenton, Fl. He was born April 19, 1994, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of Timothy Logan and Susan (Schenkel) Logan. Tom attended Saint Charles and Bishop Dwenger and received his BA degree from IPFW in Fort Wayne. Following graduation, Tom was employed in medical sales with Freedom Medical in Fort Wayne, and Harmar Mobility in Sarasota, Florida, where he relocated two autumns past. Tom was proud of his work in Florida and flourished in his seaside surroundings there. In Fort Wayne and under the Sarasota sunshine, Tom shined most brightly as a steadfast friend; he was a young man with many unremitting, “forever” friendships, a Good Samaritan, and one exemplifying the universal, “The love of our neighbor in all its fullness simply means being able to say, ‘What are you going through?” Tom was a great reader, a student of Irish history and myth, and an individual dedicated to his Catholic faith, and surely so when measured by the numerous scapulars, sacred medals, and crucifixes with which he humbly surrounded himself.

He leaves many devoted friends and family members, including four siblings, seven nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom loved Tom dearly. He is survived by his parents; older brother Will; and sisters Maggie Berghoff, Erin Beeker, and Maureen Logan. Tom was preceded in death by sister Theresa Marie Logan.

Visitation is Friday, July 28, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Saturday, July 29 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Burial in Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery.
