Thomas G. Schmitt, 82, passed away Saturday April 23, 2016. He was born in Fort Wayne, he was the owner of Summit Truss and Service, Inc., and worked at General Electric. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War.
Surviving are his children Donald (Cindi) Schmitt and Heidi (Rick) Merriman; grandchildren Sharee (Brian) Garza-Doty, Celia Garza, Israel Garza, Ashley (Jarod) Condra and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Diana, parents William and Dorothy Schmitt and sister Carroll Rodriguez.
