Trent Devon Thomas

He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on November 23, 1969, the son of the late Thomas Brown and Barbara Jean Gregory.

Trent graduated from Paul Harding High School with the class of 1989. He went on to attend IVY Tech and Indiana Tech where he had studied engineering. He most recently worked at Maple Leaf Farms and previously the Fort Wayne Foundry.

Trent loved social gatherings, being around his family, music, reading, and he was always continuing to study to improve upon himself. Through his interest, he obtained the nickname "Wall Street."

He is survived by his dad, Michael Gregory; daughter, Imari Larry; siblings, Michelle and Jeanelle Gregory, Tangala (Kendrick) Eaton, Thyoshi Chambers, Tomisha Chambers, Tiffany Crawford, Terra Chambers, Tyrese (Tara) Brown; aunts and uncles, Michael Thomas, Marcia Patterson, Philomenia Derrick, Michelle Derrick, Karen (Pedro) Lebron, Renecer (Ronald) Jones, Tia Paschall, Darrell (Sherry) Beachum; and special cousin, Contrail Derrick. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Gregory; father, Thomas Brown; step-mother, Bernice Chambers; grandmothers, Icyline Thomas, Erma Beachum; grandfather, Ransom Adkisson, James Beachum; uncles, Joseph (Valarie) Thomas, Frederick (Zelma) Thomas; James "Eric" Beachum.

Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 19, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm.

Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
