Valeria Wojciechowski, 99, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Valeria was born in Woodburn, Indiana on July 23, 1925, a daughter of the late Wilford and Mildred (Freeburn) Messman. She worked as a supervisor for Magnavox for several years. Val was a devoted member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She enjoyed shopping and decorating. Val is survived by her son, Ted (Retha Springer) Hirschey; grandchildren, Marnie (Tyrone), Ted Jr. (Amy), Amanda, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, Ella, Jaden, and Bella; brother, Jack (Ottie) Messman; and daughter-in-law, Chris Hirschey. Val was also preceded in passing by her late husband, George Wojciechowski; previous husband, Charles Hirschey; sons, Randy and Kent Hirschey; grandson, Andrew; and brothers, Max, Bruce, Denny, and Duane Messman. A celebration of life will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in the kitchenette, 16933 Thiele Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
