Velma Louise Witte

Velma L. Witte, 91, passed away Friday July 27, 2018. She was born in Fort Wayne on July 27, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Della (Bleke) Mueller. Velma was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she worked in the kitchen and volunteered for many years. Surviving are her son Ronald (Anita) Witte; grandchildren Jeremy (Aubrey) Witte and Melissa (Sherman) Vaught and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Otis; brother Norman Mueller and sisters Dorothy (Harlan) Lee and Clementine Egts. Services will be at 10am Friday Aug. 3, 2018 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 3425 Crescent Ave. with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be 5-7 Thursday Aug. 2, 2018 in the chapel at Lutheran Life Villages 6723 South Anthony Blvd. Burial will be at Concordia Gardens Cemetery.
