Victor L. Moore

Victor L. Moore, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020. He was born the late Joseph F. and Marion S. (Nash) Moore on September 23, 1929 in Fort Wayne. Victor graduated from Central High School in 1948. He was a member of the Eagles Scouts and proudly served in the US Army during the Korea. After Victor married Dorothy Bonds, who built there family home where they lived from 1955 to 2013. He owned Victor Moore Painting for 30 years. He loved to spend time with his daughter and loved his pipe collection. Victor is survived by his daughter, Victoria Moore; sister, Wally Hornaday; Victoria's God-parents, Lavon and Gloria Kelly; Victoria's God-sister, Kenya Ishman; Victoria's God-brother, Patrick Kelly; his grandchildren, Dominick McAfee and Kaori Williams; and special niece, Frederica Lumpkin; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, who he recently joined together in Heaven just ten days apart; three brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date for both Dorothy and Victor.
