

She attended Central Noble High School. Wanda worked at Brighton Mushroom Farm where she met her beloved husband, Rodney From. The two were married on July 30, 1977, and spent many years by each other’s side. After working on the mushroom farm, Wanda ran a home day care for 15 years. She then spent 10 years as a glass maker with Cardinal Glass Industries before her retirement. All the while, Rodney was working by her side. The two were an inseparable team. Together, they were also Girl Scouts leaders for eight years.
In her free time, Wanda loved to tend to her beautiful and vibrant garden. It thrived under her gentle and attentive care. She loved animals of all kinds, wild or domesticated, and always held a tender concern for their well-being. Wanda will forever be known for quiet compassion.
Surviving Wanda are her husband, Rodney From; children, Chuck Messer and Kim (Dave) Lindsey; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her 10 beloved cats.
In honor of Wanda, memorial contributions may be made out to the Humane Shelter of Steuben County. Wanda will forever be dearly missed. The memories made will continue to be treasured in the hearts of her loved ones.
