William "Bill" A. Bender

William “Bill” A. Bender, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Born December 5, 1937 in Uniondale, Ind., he was a son of the late Malcolm and Grace (Wolmsley) Bender. Bill retired from GE after 30 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Eva (Asher) Bender of Fort Wayne; sons, Fred (Maureen) Bender and David (Sarah) Bender, both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Mikayla, Ina, Avery, and Merlin; siblings, Nancy (Garry) Sink of Zanesville, Ind., and Robert (Mary Ann) Bender of Huntington, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Peggy Sue (Curtis) Collins of Uniondale, Ind., and Sandra Billingslea of Fort Wayne.
