WILLIAM G. ROTH, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born March 16, 1923 in Fort Wayne a son of the late Lee and Nettie (Young) Roth. He had worked at Magnavox and was a member of V.F.W. Post #857, American Legion Post #499, Knights of Columbus Council #11043 4th degree Anthony Wayne Council, he was a WWII Marine Corp Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Roberta Roth of Fort Wayne; children, Catherine (Art) Wiley of Daphne, Ala., Dorothy (Robert) Zimmerman of Clearwater, Fla., William G. (Shirley) Roth II of Fort Wayne, David E. (Laurie) Roth of Crown Point, Ind., Pam (David) Hecke of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, Sisters; Dorothy Turner of Greenville, Ohio and Jeanene Wright of Ft. Wayne, IN. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Mohler Sorrell; grandsons, Travis Miller and Andrew Roth; brothers, James and Robert Roth; brother-in-law, Duane Turner and sister, Marjorie. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Father Joseph Gaughan officiating. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St.with a Rosary service at 7:00p.m Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
